Sustainability in Action: Sylvania Group equips The Cubehouse with smart lighting
The Cubehouse is the first hybrid timber construction project in Amsterdam’s Zuidas business district. The office building (approx. 16,300 m²) was constructed using 75% recycled and/or bio-based materials for the structure.
The objective was to create a sustainable, healthy, and inspiring workplace, Paris Proof (Dutch sustainability standard), WELL-Gold certified, and with a BREEAM Excellent rating.
This required an innovative, holistic approach to building management. Sylvania Group is proud to have worked with Smart Business Concepts and provided its SylSmart® solution, ensuring:
- light quality, comfort and energy efficiency thanks to smart control,
- interoperability with the overall building management system.
